5. No Man’s Sky (Hello Games/ PS4)

This Playstation-first title stole Best of Show in this year’s E3. With its lush artistic palette, this open-world platform first person science fiction game looks absolutely gorgeous! So what can we expect from No Man’s Sky? Well how about space battles, terrain exploration and Dinosaurs! Who doesn’t like Dinosaurs, right? Right? Check the trailer and get hyped!

 

4. Batman: Arkham Knight (Rocksteady/ PS4/ Xbox One/ PC)

Returning back to Rocksteady after WB Montréal’s attempt at the franchise, Arkham Knight is Batman’s 4th installment in the on-going Batman: Arkham game series. The gameplay pretty much makes you Batman: jumping and gliding across Gotham striking fear and terror in the hearts of criminals and doing it with cool gadgets and toys. Fusing solid gameplay and robust story-telling, the Arkham have been winning multiple awards ever since its first installment. We’re hoping that Arkham Knight follows this as well. Prepare to go across Gotham once again this time with the help of a full array of arsenal at hand including an amazing Tumbler-like Batmobile. Watch how Batman seamlessly slips in and out of his trusty gadget companion in this 5-minute gameplay trailer.

 

 

3. Destiny (Activision & Bungie/ PS3/ PS4/ Xbox 360/ Xbox One)

Okay so this game has PS3 and an Xbox 360 variation but still, a gorgeous game like this needs the full force of the new console to be thoroughly enjoyed. Touted as the CoD killer, this robust FPS has had players talking for months! Garnering positive reviews in E3 and launching an open-Beta soon this July, we’re sure that Destiny will keep FPS-junkies pumped until the game’s release by the end of the year. 2. Dragon Age Inquisition (EA/ PS4/ Xbox One/ PC)

It’s the biggest Dragon Age yet and it is looking more and more awesome by the minute. Continuing the epic saga from Dragon Age 1 and 2 (and its DLCs), Dragon Age Inquisition is set on a much larger map opening worlds that were once just referred to in the first two games. In fact, it is said that area that you can traverse in Inquisition would cover two countries and the land between them namely Fereldan and Orlais . Past characters will also make an appearance and the developers confirmed that aside from making this game massive in scale, it’s also massive in characters – bringing almost all the characters from the past 2 games into this one. Dragon Age Inquisition also operates on a real open-map platform that, according to the video below, would be affected by the actions that you do in-game. Instead of having random encounters like the first two games, Inquisition intelligently monitors life form in a given area and base on the actions that you do (i.e. you keep hunting bears in one area) their population can be affected. 1. Metal Gear Solid V: Phantom Pain (Konami/ PS4/PS3/ Xbox One/ Xbox 360)

We hope you still have that popcorn at hand as you may want to hang on to that for this 30-minute gameplay footage of one of the most anticipated games of the year. Hideo Kojima, masterful story-teller, is back with a Metal Gear that seems better than ever. Taking place after the events of Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zero, Phantom Pain places you in the shoes of Big Boss (voiced by Kiefer Sutherland) again as you traverse an “open-world” platform of sorts. You can check out how big the places are from the gameplay footage below.

*Note: According to some reports Dragon Age Inquisition will have a PS3 and an Xbox 360 version and we’re trying to confirm this. But even if this is true, you can’t really deny that these games are just meant to be played with a Next-Gen console (or a super suped-up system)!  🙂
