WATCH: “He’s Back” – See the new Super Bowl spot and Poster for “Terminator Genisys”

Making it apparent and clear that he is back for another dose of testosterone futuristic action, Arnold Schwarzenegger returns to the franchise that helped build his career as an action star, as Paramount Pictures and Skydance Productions prepare to “Reset The Future” and bring a new kind of twist to the Terminator franchise this year with the upcoming film “Terminator: Genisys“.

Debuting a new poster and spot just in time for this year’s Super Bowl game, the movie promotes a new conflict for the resistance led by John Connor to face as the battle between man and machine reaches an all time high. Faced with being hunted and killed by terminators both in the past and in the future, John sends his trusted soldier Kyle Reese into the past to ensure that his mother, the legendary Sarah Connor, survives and gives birth to him. Unfortunately for Kyle, the past is changed when he reaches it, finding a now fully trained Sarah waging was against machines hunting her from the future. A reprogrammed and aged T-800 acts as her mentor and protector against the forces of Skynet, and the trio soon find themselves caught in a struggle to survive and fight to ensure that humanity’s future is secure and protected.

Directed by Alan Taylor and also starring Emilia Clarke (Game of Thrones), Jason Clarke (Dawn of the Planet of the Apes), Jai Courtney (A Good Day to Die Hard), and Matt Smith (Doctor Who), Terminator Genisys is a new chapter that literally resets that series and brings it to a new generation to follow. The film opens on July 1, 2015.
