If there’s one superhero who has gotten quite the meat share of exposure in all forms of media, it’s DC Comics’ own Caped Crusader himself – The Batman.
Having celebrated 75 years of existence last year with a big “75 Years Of Batman” anniversary celebration, it’s so hard to forget the influence that the winged creature of the night and brainchild of creators Bob Kane and Bill Finger has made throughout human history.
From his first appearance in the pages of Detective Comics #27 in 1939 to the pulse-pounding action and modern storytelling supplied by writers like Scott Snyder in the current Batman books, The Dark Knight has carved a legacy that transcends beyond printed material and makes him a very relatable hero to mankind.
Now, a man named Jacob T. Swinney has created a stellar tribute to Batman as he has appeared in the decades in film – in a video that spans seven decades of the Caped Crusader’s appearance in various movies and film adaptations. Included of course are the Tim Burton Batman films, and Christian Bale’s seminal portrayal of both the hero and the man behind the cowl in Christopher Nolan’s epic Dark Knight Trilogy.
Treat this as a primer for the next time Bats appears in the big screen… Namely with Ben Affleck as the new Bruce Wayne/ Batman for Zack Snyder’s upcoming 2016 sequel for Man Of Steel – Batman V Superman – Dawn of Justice!
