At the end of Batman: Arkham City, The Joker succumbed to the deteriorating effects of the virus in his body and died. So Arkham Knight starts off with his cremation – aptly shown with Frank Sinatra’s “I’ve Got You Under My Skin” playing in the background. Soon, the events of the opening sequence shift to Gotham City nine months later, where the narrator in Commissioner Gordon starts recounting the events of “How The Batman Died”, and this beginning with the emergence of The Scarecrow as he begins his campaign of fear in Gotham

Batman: Arkham Knight will be released for Playstation 4, Xbox One, and PC on June 23.
