As we mentioned before, the Essen Spiel event is a BIG DEAL to any boardgamer because it’s almost like a launch pad for awesome new boardgames! We’ve talked about how the event itself is considered to be the mecca of boardgaming and even shared with you some of our picks for games coming from Essen that you should watch out for. Of course, since the event happened quite recently, most of us will have to wait for the Essen Spiel Games to come to our shores. DyceNDyne, a boardgame cafe located at Unit 3 Elements @Rosemarie Bldg. Pasig Blvd. (across SeaOil), has brought a TON of amazing games straight from the Essen Spiel 2015 and has made it available for play for the whole of this week and we, at UnGeek, we’re more than thrilled to be there to check out DAY ONE! There were just so many games that we didn’t know where to start! There are various categories as well to suit whatever kind of gamer you are. You into Casual / Light / Party games? Worry not! There are games that you may just like such as SILENT MOON, VOILA, and EXPLODING KITTENS!
Fan of Casual / Party Games? There’s sure to be an Essen game for YOU!
If, like me, you’re really itching to play the heavy strategic and immersive games from Essen, then you’re in for a treat as well! Games like PANDEMIC LEGACY and T.I.M.E. STORIES were available for play and I couldn’t wait to check out their gameplay!
