Its Day 3 of ToyCon 2016 and lets kick this off with some competition!
The Card Games Competition
GamingLib held the finals at ToyCon for three competitive card games; FFG’s “A Game of Thrones The Living Card Game” & “Warhammer 40,000 Conquest The Living Card Game“, and “Ashes Rise of The Phoenixborn” by Plaid Hat games. The games we’re fierce check out pics
A Game of Thrones LCG
Winner: Kevin Mado with House Stark
Runner up: Alexis Galit with House Martell
It was a close match until THE DESTINY DRAW where House Stark claimed the crown of victory. For the WOLF!
Warhammer 40,000 Conquest LCG
Winner: Chris Densing with Dark Eldar
Runner up: Daniel Magpantay with Chaos
Dark Eldar seized the day by (resource) choking the life out of Chaos and it was not pretty and if you’re familiar with 40K lore you know what the Dark Eldar are into.
Ashes Rise of The Phoenixborn
Winner: Eugene Chua with Brennen
Runner up: Mark Zulaybar with Noah
Brennen breezed its way to the win by maintaining board control all throughout.
The Cosplay Competition
What kinda ToyCon would it be without a Cosplay Tournament right? From CONFANX!

Independence Day
Also that day was our independence day and here are some local talent on stage from the upcoming movie Patintero: Ang Alamat ni Meng Patalo
And let’s not forget the most patriotic of all HENERAL LUNA! oh don’t forget to support our local talent and buy that sweet deluxe edition Heneral Luna DVD. They we’re also hinting about a “Goyong” movie hhmmmm.

Aaaannnnddddd that’s a wrap guys! ToyCon 2016 has concluded it was unlike any other previous ToyCon experience having PopLife Fan Xperience as its partner although there is room for improvement. There was a little bit of the old a little bit of the new but nonetheless a fun 3 day event. The question now is what’ll be in store for ToyCon 2017? Whatever it is Ungeek will be waiting and watching so keep an eye on our site.
