THERE HAS BEEN AN AWAKENING, HAVE YOU FELT IT? The latest LEGO Star Wars game is out and in full force awesome! Available for various consoles including PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and PlayStation Vita, the game proved to be one of the biggest LEGO video games of all time as it dominated the UK sales chart in terms of physical copies sold.

We’ve been tinkering with this nifty and uber fun LEGO Star Wars game and before we give you our full impression and review here are 7 reasons why you should definitely pick up this title!

1. You’re able to relive the all the epic moments of the movie AND MORE!

Reason 1
You get to see it all again AND be part of it. Not only do you get the scenes and the dialogue (remade in all LEGO awesomeness), but you have the epic soundtrack and the familiar sounds (the pew-pew of blaster fire was so exciting to hear!) to give you the full experience. That’s not all, though. You also get a few additional scenes to further immerse you into the world.

2. LEGO keeps the game light with witty and clever humor
Reason 2
True to LEGO game fashion, there are scenes here and there that inject humor into the story. For the family-friendly audience, it’s definitely a nice touch AND gives a unique flavor to this LEGO Star Wars game. If you have kids and you want them to get into Star Wars, this is definitely the way!

3. You get to play as various characters…
Reason 3
Possibly one of the most fun parts of playing a Star Wars game is getting to play as the iconic characters from the franchise. In LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens, you’ll get to play a LOT of the major characters of the movie – Finn, Rey, Poe Dameron, Han Solo, Chewbacca and more! You’ll even get to play as Kylo Ren, General Hux, and Captain Phasma at some point.

4. …and you get to pilot/ride various Vehicles!
Reason 4
OH YES! YES, YOU DO! You get a chance to be behind the wheel of various Star Wars vehicles – X-Wings, Tie Fighters, the Millennium Falcon, AND MORE! Even better, you get to pilot them as PART OF THE STORY!! How epic is that?! You get to experience space dogfights and aerial battles that were crucial to the development of events in the movie.

5. Experience the Multi-Build System
Reason 5
The new Multi-Build System is introduced in LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens. This allows you to choose from multiple building options in certain parts of the game. Different build options will allow you to advance the game in many different ways. This makes the experience fresh and gives the story of the game a lot of replayability.

6. No GAMEOVERS
Reason 6
For such a fun and light game, Game Overs aren’t fun. So there’s none of that here! You just keep going through the scenarios continuously and the fun never stops! Perfect for a game that focuses more on Fun Factor.

7. Intelligent and Challenging A.I.
Reason 7
There may be no Game Overs but that doesn’t mean that the gameplay will be mindlessly dumb. The enemy A.I. in LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens has the ability to build using LEGO bricks to support their fellow Stormtroopers. They can call in air support, reinforcements, or heavy artillery making each encounter as exciting as possible.
