Pokemon Company president and CEO Tsunekazu Ishihara revealed that a "core RPG" Pokemon game is lined up for Switch!
Nintendo has just dropped a bit of news for Pokemon fans to look forward to in their E3 spotlight. Pokemon Company’s CEO Tsunekazu Ishihara announced that there is a “core RPG” Pokemon game in the works which will be exclusive for the Switch. Check out his statement at 9:20 in this video clip:

No specifics for the Pokemon RPG have been revealed as of yet, but there are new Pokemon games coming out later this year such as Ultra Sun/Moon and Pokken Tournament DX.
Sounds like Nintendo and Game Freak have something big lined up for this. Is this the rumored “Pokemon Stars” project that has been circling around for months? Hopefully we’ll find out the answer soon!
