Latest Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure Movie Trailer Showcases Stands

The first live action adaptation, titled JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Diamond Is Unbreakable Chapter I titled is set to open in Japan this August. Check out the new trailer that finally features it’s most unique element: Stands – a staple in the series which are basically powerful psychic projections of the characters. Take a look at the latest trailer below:

Set in Morioh, Japan, the story is actually the fourth part of Hirohiko Araki‘s popular manga and it follows protagonist Jōsuke Higashikata (Kento Yamazaki), who is involved in a lot of bizarre incidents in his area.

The movie is directed by Takashi Miike and will open in Japan on August 4.
