XBox shows off their Title Line-up and Promises an Enhanced Gaming Experience! | E3 2017 Highlights

We’re just half a day removed from the E3 2017 Microsoft Press Conference and WHEW! It was HELLA packed with all sorts of announcements and reveals. There’s a lot of ground to cover so let’s get right to it!

The XBox One X is Revealed

Labeled as “The World’s Most Powerful Console”, the XBox One X was announced to come out on November 7! The XBox One X features a 6 Teraflop GPU clocked at 1.172 Ghz, 12GB of GDDRS memory, and 326GB/s of memory bandwidth. It also promises to deliver a TRUE 4K experience meaning it will be rocking 8+ Million pixels, HDR, a wide color gamut, Premium Dolby Atmos Sound, and 4K UHD Blu-ray playback. It will also be compatible with all XBox One accessories and games.

Forza Motorsport 7

To show just exactly what the XBox One X is capable of, Microsoft shows just how beautiful Forza Motorsport 7 on the XBox One X. The game comes out on October 3, 2017 and will most likely be the title that will push the console’s power to the limit. The weather and environmental graphics truly shined during the Gameplay footage they showed. It’s just amazing to think how far game graphics have gone and, with the promises that were made during the press conference, it seems that Microsoft will be taking the potential of video game graphics to the next level!

Metro Exodus

The World Premiere of Metro Exodus’ trailer was also shown during the XBox Press Conference. It definitely looked like an amazingly gorgeous game and we’re excited to see how the XBox One X will be enhancing the experience of this upcoming game even further. Said to be releasing on 2018.

Assassin’s Creed Origins

This was a surprise indeed! A new Assassin’s Creed is on the way. Assassin’s Creed Origins will be coming to the XBox One in all its 4K Glory. It seems this time, we’ll be going to ancient Egypt and get to take in all its beauty. While it began with a simple reveal trailer, Ubisoft and XBox treated us to a sample of the Gameplay as well! It looks really interesting! And also, Drone Birds :p

PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds

PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds, the game that lets you vie to be the sole survivor in a 100-player battle royale, is doing a console launch exclusive for the XBox! As this game has already taken PC Gamers by storm, expect a huge amount of players trying it when it launches late this year. Also, XBox players are in for a treat as they will be getting XBox One X enhancement updates later on in the year.

Minecraft Unified

Minecraft players rejoice! The Minecraft Unification is about to happen which means that Minecraft players across all platforms will finally be able to connect with each other regardless of the platform they’re playing in! Minecraft for XBox will, of course, have 4K support. All of this are slated for Fall 2017.

DRAGON BALL FighterZ

Yaaas! Dragonball Z gets a 2D-ish Fighting Game and it looks epic AF! The game was given an early 2018 release date but we sure can’t wait for any further news and updates on this game.

Sea of Thieves

XBox definitely gave us a treat as they showed never-seen-before gameplay footage of Sea of Thieves. The possibilities for things to do in the game are so vast and the art style is just oh so good! This awesome game will be coming out on early 2018.

Life is Strange: Before the Storm

Yup! Life is Strange is getting a prequel! Life is Strange: Before the Storm lets you play as Chloe BEFORE Max returned to Arcadia Bay. We’ll be able to get to know more about Rachel and really delve more into her character. I am curious though how this would fare WITHOUT the time travel functionalities that the first game was known for. We’ll find out on August 31, 2017 when Episode 1 of 3 is released!

Middle-Earth: Shadow of War

XBox also let us see gameplay footage of Shadow of War! The game introduces a few new mechanics that lets you build your own army and let you create your own fortresses inside Mordor. Check out the video to see this special E3 Gameplay demo.

Ori and the Will of the Wisps

This. THIS! This made me so happy! I’ve been a fan of Ori and the Blind Forest when it came out and I have been looking for a sequel. Seeing this trailer just granted me that wish! 😀 No release date yet but this was definitely an awesome announcement to hear!

Anthem

Lastly (at least for my highlights), there’s the official gameplay reveal of Bioware’s ANTHEM! There has been a lot of talk about this game so it was definitely exciting to finally see the gameplay. I highly recommend you watch it and see the epicness for yourself. I love the idea of the Javelin exosuits though and how it’s gives you the whole IRON MAN feel to it. hehe Definitely looking forward to hearing more about this game.

One more announcement that is worth mentioning is how the owners of Gears of War 4, Forza Horizon 3, Killer Instinct, Halo Wars 2, and/or Minecraft will get 4K updates for these games FOR FREE!

Like I said, these are just HIGHLIGHTS! The Microsoft Press Conference was REALLY packed with a lot of announcements hence we recommend that you see it for yourself by clicking the VOD below.
