Starcraft II becomes Free-to-Play!

BlizzCon 2017 just made a huge announcement with the reveal of Starcraft II going Free-to-Play starting November 14! Here’s the overview video:

 

Blizzard President Mike Morhaime announced this during his speech at the BlizzCon 2017 Opening Ceremonies. He said that on November 14, everyone will be getting the Starcraft II: Wings of Liberty Campaign for free! If you already have Wings of Liberty, then you’ll get access to Heart of the Swarm as well. Everyone also gets access to the Starcraft 2 Ranked Ladder for FREE! Coop mode will also be improved with everyone getting free access to all Coop Commanders in the game up until Level 5.
