ASUS ZenFone Max Plus wants you to keep going and going and going and…

Here's a bang-for-the-buck long-lasting smartphone!

ONE Store Beta Now Available

Behold! The Battery King is here! ASUS ZenFone’s latest long-performing smart phone was unveiled to the public last Sunday, January 14, 2018. Adding another option for those who want a Zenfone that would last a looooong time before charging up again, the Zenfone Max Plus is also the company’s first 18:9 full view FHD display phone.

Whereas finger prints scanners of previous ZenFones were located at the bottom center of the phone, the new ZenFone Max Plus’s scanner is now located at the back. This gives the phone more real estate to fit a 5’7” screen on a 5’2 phone!

More screen real estate, more area for your entertainment needs. And this is immensely true when binge-watching on some Netflix or powering through various mobiles games. In fact, as the name suggest, ZenFone Max Plus is built for you to power through much about any battery-consuming activity you do on your phone – hence the self-touted Battery King.

With 4130mah, a slight reduction from its previous iteration but still carries significant capacity, the ZenFone Max Plus is crafted so that you can go on a full day of extensive usage without the need to charge your phone by mid-day.

It’s not just the battery capacity that’s important, but the proprietary software built-in to the more streamlined ZenFone launcher. The battery system in ZenFone Max Plus features ASUS PowerMaster, a suite of intelligent power-management technologies that work in concert to optimize battery life, ensure safety and long-term performance, provide reverse-charging capability, and more. Twelve safety checkpoints — including temperature monitoring and overvoltage protection — combined with automatic maintenance settings keep ZenFone Max Plus’ battery running optimally, providing a 2X-longer average lifespan compared to other smartphone batteries.

Love taking photos? No worries! True to ZenFone’s current campaign of embracing photography (link), the ZenFone Max Plus is fitted with an advanced dual rear-camera system designed to take mobile photography to new heights. Its 16MP PixelMaster main camera is equipped with a wide, f/2.0 aperture lens to capture clearer photos, and a phase-detection autofocus (PDAF) system that can accurately focus on the subject in just 0.03 seconds even if the subject is moving.

The secondary 120° wide-angle camera has a 200%-wider field of view than standard smartphone cameras, allowing more scenery or people to fit in the frame for dramatic landscape shots, better group photos, and a more convenient photography experience in confined indoor spaces. Wider angle, more things to shoot.

Adding another first to the ZenFone family, the ZenFone Max Plus is the first in the line to be equipped with a face-unlock technology usually reserved for flagship-level phones. This feature gives users a quick, secure and convenient alternative to the rear fingerprint sensor for unlocking the phone.

So how much is the ZenFone Max Plus? For the myriad of features, the unit itself is shy of the 12k peso mark. The SRP of the unit is Php 11,995.00 – a pricing that’s extremely competitive in the low to mid-tier phones.

As an added bonus, people who purchase a ZenFone Max Plus starting Jan 14, 2018 will be given a JBL Blutooth Headset along with a patented clear case (until supplies last).

If you’re looking for a phone that won’t konk on you when you need it most, and something that will not be breaking the bank, you might want to hit up your nearest ASUS kiosk and check the ZenFone Max Plus out.
