High 5! The Zenfone 5 has arrived in the Philippines!

Great news for Pinoy ZenFans! You don’t have to wait much longer for the Zenfone 5 series cuz it’s finally hitting the local stores. It’s not even that far since its global announcement at MWC 2018 in Barcelona Spain, but now ASUS Philippines confirmed that you can finally score your very own ZenFone 5 as early as April 14 so make sure to mark those calendars!
#Backto5 is ASUS’ nod to the entire line of photography-centric smartphones including this new entry – the ZenFone 5 series. It also comes with the ASUS A.I that helps you take that perfect shot. The feature also includes A.I Scene Detection that detects 16 different scenes and objects, A.I Photo Learning, Real-time Portrait, and Real-time Beautification as if the camera is thinking for you which gives you more freedom to get those creative and gorgeous shots.
The ZenFone 5Z is a 6.2-inch, dual-camera smartphone that shows a 19:9 all-screen display making it 90% screen-to-body. And all that is packed in a 5.5-inch body size.
As for its processing speed, it rides the latest Snapdragon 845 with AIE that features a 3rd Gen A.I platform and includes Hexagon 685 Vector DSP, Adreno 630 Graphics, and Kryo 385 CPU. And to surf the net, this phone rocks the Snapdragon X20 Gigabit LTE modem as well as an integrated 2×2 802.11ax Wi-Fi and Bluetooth® 5 for ultra-low-power wireless earbuds. Along with a 6GB RAM and 64GB ROM, all this makes the Zenfone 5Z a dang speedy phone.
While the ZenFone 5 also comes with a dual-camera system, it is powered by Snapdragon 636 Mobile platform, and employs the ASUS AI Boost (also available on the Zenfone 5Z) ensuring good performance while running demanding apps. Its dual-camera systems also adapts and learns the scene and equipped with the latest Sony® IMX363 sensor with large 1.4µm pixels, an f/1.8 wide-aperture lens, 120° wide-angle secondary camera, four-axis optical image stabilization (OIS), and the same AI-enhanced camera features.
For those who love taking pictures with their phones, you might want to consider having the ZenFone 5Q. You can take high-resolution pictures using its quad-camera system with 20MP Sony at the front, 16MP at the rear cam plus a secondary 120° wide-angle camera at both front and rear. Then you can view them in its 6-inch Full HD+ IPS display and a Full View 18:9 aspect ratio. It also has performance and power with its Snapdragon 630 Mobile Platform and 3300mAh battery. It also rocks security functions not limited to NFC, triple-slot Sim/microSD card holder, along with a face and fingerprint recognition system.
While some have claimed that it has an iPhoneX-ish design (particularly the ZenFone 5/5Z), the ZenFone 5 series still has sparked the interest of many with its intelligent design and processing speed. This truly might be the best ZenFone ever!
