League of Legends joins the Globe Philippine Pro Gaming League 2018 game lineup

The Globe Philippine Pro Gaming League 2018 just had a major addition to its game lineup! The tourney organizer, Mineski Events Team (MET), recently announced that it’ll bring League of Legends to the tournament.
The LoL leg of PPGL 2018 will take place over two Online Qualifiers, with the top two teams from each qualifier advancing to the National Qualifiers. Two teams from last year’s Garena Pro Gaming Series are already seeded in the National Qualifiers, namely Mineski-League of Legends and TNC-League of Legends. Also joining them are Barcy Esports and ArkAngel
The League of Legends leg of the Globe PPGL 2018 Season 2 has a total prize pool of PHP 300,000, and will also lead up towards Globe Conquerors Manila 2018 which is set to take place later this year at the Mall of Asia Arena. Globe Conquerors will serve as the SEA qualifier for the 2018 League of Legends World Championship.
