The Globe Philippine Pro Gaming League 2018 returns with Tekken 7

Last year saw lots of exciting Tekken action at the Globe Philippine Pro Gaming League, the country’s biggest multi-platform esports league. If you thought last years’ Tekken 7 leg was awesome, this year’s is promising to be even better!

Globe and Mineski Events Team (MET) recently announced the return of the Globe Philippine Pro Gaming League 2018 (PPGL), which is set to start this June 2018 with the return of its flagship fighting game tournament — Tekken 7.

As a nationwide league, the Globe PPGL 2018 Tekken 7 Tournament will have qualifiers all over the Philippines from June to August. Players all over the Philippines will be able to showcase their Tekken skill for a chance to qualify for the REV Major, one of the premier fighting game tournaments of the region which will take place later this year.

The Globe PPGL 2018 Tekken 7 tournament will conclude at BrawlFest Versus Arena, a fighting game event at SM North EDSA this August 19, 2018. The top four Tekken 7 fighters of the Globe PPGL Season 2 tournament will receive direct invites to REV Major.
