OPPO’s F9 is probably the Selfie Expert’s most colorful batch of releases with smartphones not conforming to the usual color palette of black, silver and a special color. With OPPO F9, every release is a special color — even the most subdued, which is the Twilight Blue.

Upon launch, OPPO F9 offered the Twilight Blue and Sunrise Red. They announced the Starry Purple but mentioned it was a special edition color variant. Welp, it seems, said color is here now! Behold!

Employing the same meticulous spraying method to achieve the pristine sheen of the F9, the OPPO F9 Starry Purple achieves a majestic finish fit for more discerning individuals. I mean, just look at the gold-like specs sprinkled rather gratuitously throughout the phone. The gold and purple motif actually made us think of Adrian Veidt aka Ozymandias one of the main characters (and central villain) in the Alan Moore’s seminal Watchmen.
