Debuting the very first teaser poster to their upcoming web based TV Series based on the blind superhero himself, Marvel’s Daredevil will be making the leap to the Marvel Cinematic Universe starting this coming April!

The series, starring English actor Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock/ Daredevil, is one of Marvel Television and ABC Studios upcoming new shows under Netflix which included Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, and Iron Fist. All of them will eventually come together as one in an “Avengers styled” team-up show called “The Defenders”.

Created by Stan Lee and Bill Everett, Daredevil is the alter ego of Blind Attorney Matt Murdock, who lost his sight at a young age due to an accident that exposed his eyes to a radioactive substance. Although no longer able to see, his other senses have been enhanced to superhuman levels, and Murdock also gains a “Radar Sense” that allows him to detect unseen enemies. After his father and boxer Jack Murdock is murdered, Matt adopts a dual identity to seek justice and protect the innocent of Hell’s Kitchen and beyond as the vigilante called “Daredevil”.

Once played by Ben Affleck in the 2003 film of the same name that was produced by 20th Century Fox and directed by Mark Steven Johnson, Daredevil was eventually reacquired by Marvel, which led to the new series being produced and made. The show will debut on Netflix starting April 10, 2015.
