Set to make a comeback in just a few months time, HBO has finally released the first trailer to their upcoming fifth season of their popular adaptation of George R.R. Martin's "A Song of Ice and Fire" medieval fantasy series - Game Of Thrones!

As one of the most anticipated returns to television that everyone is waiting for, HBO is gearing fans up for the return of one of the most popular medieval fantasy shows in TV history – Game Of Thrones.

Now coming to its fifth season and continuing its adaptation of George R.R. Martin’s popular “A Song of Ice and Fire” series of novels, fans are going to see more of the various individuals and houses that are fighting for the most powerful seat in Westeros – The Iron Throne, as well as the politics and consequences of war and skirmishes waged against one another.

What’s more, an ancient evil rises from the North that is more dangerous than fighting for total domination of the seven kingdoms, as well as a rising power from a noble queen looking to reclaim her rightful place and destiny. It is these stories that slowly interconnect and add intrigue to a saga that does not shy away from explicit content and violence, making Game of Thrones the popular show that it is today.

 Once again executively produced by show creators David Benioff and D.B. Weiss, Game Of Thrones Season 5 will tackle the events from “A Feast for Crows” and “A Dance with Dragons“. Fan favorite characters such as Daenerys Targaryen, Tyrion Lannister, and Jon Snow are set to return, as well as new faces being introduced into the brand new set of episodes. The first episode of the new seasos will air on April 12, 2015.
