It was truly an AWESOME experience for those who attended and caught this year’s 87th Academy Awards celebration, as winners were announced and some of the most powerful films of the past year took home some much deserving trophies for their hard work and dedication to making film an continuously evolving and entertaining experience for all mankind to appreciate.
However, there was also THE AWESOME and EPIC moment when the crowd got a performance from none other than the folks who brought to life the theme for “The Lego Movie”, with a live performance of “Everything Is Awesome” by Tegan and Sara featuring The Lonely Island!
People cheered, and the performers even handed out some sweet “Lego” Oscar awards to Hollywood’s finest, including a very happy Oprah Winfrey got and accepted!
Oh and actor Will Arnett SUITED UP in his iconic role as Batman from the animated family adventure film… Which was literally a show stealer and surprise for everyone who loved his performance! “DARKNESS. NO PARENTS~!”
