Deadpool hilariously announces that his film is Rated R

For those who were worried that the upcoming “Deadpool” film wasn’t going to go all out, The Merc With A Mouth took to breaking the GREAT NEWS that the film got its “Rated R” rating by announcing it emphatically and with style during an “Extra” interview between Mario “Slater” Lopez and film star Ryan Reynolds.

And in true April Fools fashion, THAT is how you make a statement and say that Wade Wilson’s first solo flick will be true to his nature… WILD, CRAZY, AND FULL OF GRATUITOUS COMIC BOOK LOVE AND VIOLENCE.

Directed by Tim Miller, “Deadpool” will explore the character’s origins as a former Special Forces operative turned mercenary who is subjected to experiments that give him accelerated healing powers. The film will star Reynolds as Deadpool, and co-starring Ed Skrein, Morena Baccarin, Gina Carano, and T.J. Miller.

Deadpool will be released in theaters on February 12, 2016.
