Getting fans hyped up for the next Marvel Cinematic Universe film that follows after the events of Avengers: Age of Ultron, some teases, casting news, and an EPIC looking concept image have surfaced online to promote next year's Captain America sequel that's based on one of the biggest Marvel Comics events of recent memory and pits Cap against Iron Man in Captain America: Civil War.

Now that Avengers: Age of Ultron is playing in theaters and closing another chapter for Earth’s Mightiest Heroes in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, many fans are looking forward to the next adventure that follows after the events of this year’s superhero blockbuster film. That of course will happen with next year’s Captain America: Civil War, which not only promises to have more of friends and teammates fighting against one another, but addressing an issue on superhuman registration that puts Captain America and Iron Man against one another.

That being said, an image that is apparently concept art from the film was released online and shown in the Marvel Cinematic Universe Facebook page. It shows Captain America/ Steve Rogers (Chris Evans) preparing to clash against Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) in his newest Iron Man armor, in what may very well be an EPIC confrontation between heroes turned enemies. The storyline of course is based on Marvel Comics’ highly successful “Civil War” event from 2006-2007, which will likely be tweaked for cinematic purposes once it hits the big screen next year.

Also set to return besides Evans and Downey Jr. are their Avengers teammates in Black Widow and Hawkeye, who will be once again played by Scarlett Johansson and Jeremy Renner respectively. In fact, when most of the Avengers cast were interviewed by MTV to promote Age of Ultron, they were probed on what they could spill for Cap 3, to which it hilariously went down like this in the released video, with Chris Hemsworth/ Thor and Mark Ruffalo/ Hulk clearly feeling that they’re going to miss out on the fun since they’re not in the film.

Finally, Marvel has also announced via their official website that actor Martin Freeman has joined the cast of Captain America: Civil War.

What his part could be is anyone’s guess… But he now joins his Sherlock and The Hobbit films co-star Benedict Cumberbatch (who will play Doctor Strange) in the Marvel Cinematic Universe!
