Brand new Suicide Squad Trailer and poster released

2016 is certainly the year of the comic book movie extravaganza and there’s PLENTY of films based on works from The Big Two to looks forward to and talk about, but DC Entertainment is readying fans for their own line-up of DC Films, as they presented a special on The CW called “The Dawn of the Justice League”, which featured some new sneak peeks and trailers for their upcoming films hitting later this year and on 2017.

One of these DC Films is going to look at the “bad guys of the DC Universe” in their very own film, and to promote that, Warner Bros. has released a brand new theatrical poster and trailer for David Ayer’s “Suicide Squad”, which features an all-star Hollywood cast in Will Smith as Deadshot, Jared Leto as The Joker, Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn, Joel Kinnaman as Rick Flag, Cara Delevinge as Enchantress, and Jai Courtney as Boomerang.

 

 Tasked by the government and led by Amanda Waller to be a black ops group that goes on “suicide missions”, the Suicide Squad is composed of some of the world’s deadliest criminals, assassins, and insane psychopaths. They are put together and each realizes that they are more expendable rather than expected to return. The question now is will they work together, or each fend for their own selves?

Suicide Squad will be released on August 5, 2016.
