Westworld is an upcoming science fiction thriller television series based on the 1973 film of the same name. The 70’s film was written and directed by American novelist Michael Crichton. The plot is about a futuristic western theme park populated by Robot Cowboys among others but that’s just the shallow part of it.
This 10 part HBO series explores the disturbing aspect of artificial consciousness and humanity’s hedonistic tendencies to expand its sinful pleasures in a unrestricted synthetic reality.
With such talent like Anthony Hopkins, Ed Harris, Evan Rachel Wood, James Marsden, Thandie Newton, Jeffrey Wright, Tessa Thompson, Sidse Babett Knudsen, Jimmi Simpson, Rodrigo Santoro, Shannon Woodward, Ingrid Bolsø Berdal, Ben Barnes, Simon Quarterman, Angela Sarafyan, Luke Hemsworth and Clifton Collins Jr. and is executive produced by Jonathan Nolan, Lisa Joy, J.
