The upcoming Star Wars movie, ‘Rogue One: A Star Wars Story’, recently released its second trailer and it gave us a glimpse of just how much EPIC the movie has in store for us on December. It’s something you have to see for yourself to believe. Check out the trailer here:
The trailer shows the struggle of the Rebel Alliance against the Galactic Empire’s newest weapon, The Death Star! The story of the film seems to revolve around Jyn Erso (Felicity Jones) whose father seems to have been involved in the Death Star’s creation.
We seem to be seeing the Empire at its strongest – they have massive war machines like the AT-ST, a large fleet of Star Destroyers and TIE Fighters, a huge clone army known as Stormtroopers, the leadership of two Sith Lords, and now, the planet-killing Death Star.
All hope seems lost on the Rebels but they fight on despite the insurmountable odds – this seems to be the core premise of the movie’s setting. This may mean that Rogue One will most likely focus on highlighting the drama of this tension and struggle. It’s here that the movie may focus on and, with Star Wars’ track record for story-telling, I have to say that I’m REALLY excited!
We also get to see even more of Darth Vader who I, for one, am excited to see again!
‘Rogue One: A Star Wars Story’ comes out on December 16 and, just like Christmas itself, it can’t come any sooner!
