Cartoon Network’s ‘Summer Splash’ makes Waves of Weekend Fun!
The event really was a wonderland of kid summer fun!
Last Saturday on May 13, many kids and families attended the Summer Splash Event of Cartoon Network that was held at SM by the Bay, Mall of Asia Complex in Pasay City. The event was pretty much aimed as a family / community bonding event for kids and parents alike. Upon seeing for ourselves, the event really was a wonderland of kid summer fun!
It was a free event with lots of fun activities inspired by popular Cartoon Network shows such as Ben 10, The Powerpuff Girls, We Bare Bears, and Mighty Magiswords.
Kids played a game of soccer while wearing epic zorb jackets in The Powerpuff Girls Pokey Oaks Bubble Game. Ben 10 fans played a water tag game, and there was also a wall climbing activity for kids to fetch powerful Magiswords. An arts-and-crafts area kept the creative types busy in making their very own masterpiece.
Character mascots paraded around the venue and interacted with event-goers. To cap off the event, a mad science show and a spectacular fireworks display left everyone impressed.
