Kodansha's Weekly Shōnen Magazine just revealed on their 25th issue that Hiro Mashima's Fairy Tail manga will after 10 chapters.

 

Kodansha‘s Weekly Shōnen Magazine just revealed on their 25th issue that Hiro Mashima‘s Fairy Tail manga will after 10 chapters, which roughly amounts to two volumes.

Adding to this, the official website for the upcoming Fairy Tail: Dragon Cry anime film already said last February that the manga was in its last arc.

To the many fans who follow the series, Mashima said that that he is excited to start a on new project soon. So we can safely assume that this will all come from a fresh new setting.

But for those absolute die-hards who finds it difficult to part ways with their beloved manga, it would please you to know that on the creator’s Twitter account he said “Even though the original manga is ending, I don’t think Fairy Tail is done just yet. I have a lot of plans, so please look forward to them.”

The manga has more than 60 million copies in print worldwide.
