Originally presented during the Monster Hunter Championship 2017 in Japan, more details have been shown for Capcom’s next big title.

In what originally began in Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate, expect local and online multiplayer to return! So make sure to gather up to 3 of your buddies and get back to hunting!

And since this game is an expanded version of Monster Hunter Generations, back and forth save transfers from 3Ds to switch (and vice versa) are featured in the game, so you can continue where you left of from the previous title. This means more HR’s to up and more monster parts to grind guys!

The game is slated for an August 25, 2017 release date in Japan and has a special bundle with the switch (pictured above). No word yet if the game will come to western shores, but chances are good that we will see this coming soon after. We will be sure to keep you posted!
