My Little Pony continues its 8th season in the US on 8/5/17, and they sure will start it on a good note for geeks everywhere! The mid-season premiere will feature the voice talents of none other than the one and only Felicia Day and the legendary William Shatner!
The mid-season episode, titled “The Perfect Pear“, focuses on the long-questioned story of Applejack’s parents. Applejack and her siblings discover the Shakes-pear-ean love story of Pear Butter (voiced by Felicia Day) and Bright Macintosh, which was forbidden by the Pear patriarch Grand Pear (voiced by William Shatner).
