Another anticipated anime title for 2018 is season 2 for the light-novel-turned-anime-series, Overlord. Here is the teaser trailer for the TV anime ‘Overlord’ Season 2!
Overlord is the story of a futuristic VRMMORPG game Yggdrasil that turned into one player’s real life reality quite literally. As the online game was about to be shutdown on its last day of operation the main character (MC) of the series, Momonga chose not to log out and unknowingly found himself transformed into his game avatar which is an Elder Lich Lord Wizard and transported into an alternate fantasy world. Without any connections from his original life, Momonga renames himself as Ainz Ooal Gown and decides to take over this new world.
Season one covered Volumes 1-3 of the light novel and, of course, season 2 will begin with volume 4, which comes around January 2018!
