Match 1: San Francisco Shock vs Los Angeles Valiant (0-4)

The first fight at Dorado was a good display from both teams with the Valiant leading ahead. Temple of Anubis is a notorious map for stalling but both teams would be able to take an even number of turns with the Valiant again pulling ahead. It was a theme that the Valiant was just a little ahead of the Shock in each map.The Valiant won the series with the final score at 4 wins to none. LA Valiant’s SoOn performed adamantly with his dual performance as Widowmaker and Tracer. Check out SoOn’s awesome run as Widowmaker!

Match 2: Shanghai Dragons vs Los Angeles Gladiators (0-4)

The Dragons suffered a poor performance at the Overwatch Pre-season due to their lack of time to prepare prior to the event. They were keen to prove themselves this time around but were they up to the task? The Gladiators would take the first game at Dorado with a rush. At Temple of Anubis, the Dragons attempted a four-tank composition  to hold the point but were rebuffed by the Gladiators’ strong teamwork. Ilios was a sweep in favor of the Gladiators giving them the series win. Eichenwald would be the Dragon’s last chance. In the end, the Gladiator’s went on to claim a score of 4 wins to none. The Dragons will have another chance to prove themselves this Saturday when they go up against the San Francisco Shock. LA Gladiator’s Shaz was crowned as the player of the match with his deadly Zenyatta, proving even supports can bring the pain. This highlight shows the LA Gladiators’ superior teamwork versus the Shanghai Dragons:

Match 3: Dallas Fuel vs Seoul Dynasty (1-2)

The final match was the SHOWSTOPPER OF THE DAY! These two teams drew high expectations with fan favorites as Seagull and xqc were on Dallas Fuel while Seoul Dynasty had a very strong performance during the Overwatch League Pre-season. Dallas Fuel would take the first win at Junkertown. Temple of Anubis was exciting with back to back captures from both teams with an eventual hotly contested win for Dynasty with six captures to Fuel’s five. Dynasty shone brightly with their teamwork on a control map as they shut down Fuel on Ilios. It was expected that Dynasty could shut down Fuel with a score of 3-2 but, even to the end, Fuel defied expectations. The final map would be a draw on Numbani with Seoul claiming a series victory but with Fuel having a moral victory with the score at 2-1 with 1 draw. It’s no doubt that Seoul Dynasty’s Fleta with his insane mastery of DPS characters was vital to Seoul Dynasty’s success. Fleta switched between Pharah, Doomfist, Widowmaker and even Genji throughout the matches! Behold Fleta’s power!
