Monster Hunter: World wins big at the PlayStation Awards 2018

Persona 5 and The Last of Us are also big winners!

Sony Interactive Entertainment Japan recently held the PlayStation Awards 2018 last Monday, an annual awards ceremony dating back to 1995. The ceremony honors the bestselling and the most noteworthy games on the PlayStation platform in Asia.

As one of the bestselling games of the year, Monster Hunter: World bagged the top honors — the Quarduple Platinum Prize for shipping over 4 million units in Asia. Aside from MH: World, Persona 5 and The Last of Us Remastered have received the major Platinum Prize for shipping over 1 million units in Asia (lifetime sales).
