Last month, OPPO released the Jade Green version of its F9, a color that’s inspired by the beauty of Philippine nature. And to help preserve the country’s environment, OPPO partnered with ABS-CBN Bantay Kalikasan to plant 1,200 trees at La Mesa Watershed after the success of the OPPO F9 Jade Green Charity Photo Competition.

As promised, every vote or share of the photo competition was equal to a one peso donation from OPPO. At the end of the contest, 106,146 entries in total were recorded. These proceeds will be used in Bantay Kalikasan’ s efforts to plant trees in La Mesa Watershed, the only major watershed in Metro Manila — a total of three hectares of trees will be planted which is worth Php 200,000 of donation.

“We are very grateful to everyone who voted, shared and supported our Charity Photo Competition,” said Jane Wan, OPPO Philippines’ VP for Marketing. “OPPO will continue its advocacy of preserving the environment.” Wan added.
