ONE Store Beta Now Available

Recently I got my hands on the shiny new Realme 3 smartphone and for a few days I had a bit of fun with the device as I went about in various places and utilizing one of the main features which is the camera and more specifically its Nightscape and Chroma Boost mode.

Before I share some pictures that you cannot unsee, let me give a bit of detail on one of its positive features and that is the camera. For starters, the Realme 3 is equipped with a dual-camera setup at the back which boasts a pair that can provides 2MP and 13MP quality. The camera application itself is what you’d expect on a mid-range phone as it is packed with all the right bells and whistles like the usual HDR and my favorite – Portrait mode, along with the ability to shoot some high-quality videos in up to 1080p in resolution.

Here are some of the regular images I took using the camera’s Portrait Mode. This was shot at the Legends Villas in Boni Avenue during my friends boardgame birthday party.

And how here are some pictures in Nightscape mode. From what I observed, this features significantly improves quality of the images taken in a low-light setting light. And using it is a breeze to do! Just choose the mode from the side menu on the home screen of the app and click on the image. To effectively use it though you have to hold the phone still for the phone to capture more information, but the output is more than I expected and I am very pleased with the results.

The Chroma boost mode, on the other hand the phone essentially assesses the conditions of a particular before optimizing its camera to make sure that you get a great image everytime. The details are definitely rich and enhanced here and I can say that the stock app can be at par with the best of them.
