Listen to the opening theme of Shinichiro Watanabe’s new anime Carole & Tuesday here

Watch out for this anime next week!

Back in November, the latest anime from Cowboy Bebop and Samurai Champloo director Shinichiro Watanabe was revealed. Entitled Carole & Tuesday, this Watanabe-produced series is animated by anime studio BONES (of My Hero Academia/Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood fame) and will be released next week.

Ahead of its release, the series’ opening theme sung by artists Nai Br.XX and Celeina Ann was released on YouTube. No surprises there considering the series is focused on music.

Aside from Nai Br.XX and Celeina Ann, Carole & Tuesday will also feature a wide variety of artists Taku Takahashi (m-flow), G.RINA, Flying Lotus, and many more.

In case you are unfamiliar,  the series is set in the future, fifty years after humanity has colonized the planet Mars. The series will follow two characters — Carole and Tuesday, who are brought together by their love for music.

Carole & Tuesday will air in FujiTV in Japan on April 10, 2019. The series will then air worldwide exclusively on Netflix at a later date.
