Liyab Esports and PBE|Doujin are the big winners of PPGL 2019

After an exciting playoff event!

After three months of action, the Philippine Pro Gaming League 2019 has finally reached an epic conclusion. The PPGL 2019 Finals even happened at Ayala Malls Feliz in Pasig City last April 6-7, and it featured 16 esports teams and athletes as well as a massive audience that was 9,000​-strong.

The end of the tournament saw Globe Telecom’s new team, Liyab Esports, win the Arena of Valor and League of Legends tournaments. Meanwhile, it was Andreij “PBE|Doujin” Albar that won the Tekken 7 Finals, successfully defending his Tekken title.
