Onitsuka Tiger unveils ‘Chun-Li’ inspired Mexico 66SD sneakers

Here are two pairs of sneakers for you FGC fans out there!

Is the Adidas x Marvel collection not enough to satisfy your geeky sneaker needs? Well, Japanese sneaker brand Onitsuka Tiger revealed a new pair of sneakers that are perfect for video game fans. Introducing the ‘Chun-Li’-inspired Mexico 66SD:

The ‘Chun-Li’ Mexico 66SD comes in two primary colorways: white and yellow. The white pair comes with a blue and yellow accents, while the yellow sneaker is brighter with blue accents. Both pairs come with the Street Fighter logo on the hell, as well as a Chinese Dragon pattern along the sneaker’s upper.

Want to get one of your own? Good luck! Onitsuka Tiger will limit the collection’s production to only 5,000 sneakers worldwide. Not only will it be extremely-limited, it will also have a price tag of JPY 18,000 (around PHP 8,360 or USD 160). Though as a bonus, each pair of the ‘Chun-Li’ Mexico 66SD will come with codes for special Chun-Li costumes in “Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition.”

The Onitsuka Tiger ‘Chun-Li’ sneakers will be released in Onitsuka Tiger stores across Japan on July 27, 2019.
