As the E3 Xbox 2019 Briefing kicked off, one major prediction fans had was a potential release date for the highly anticipated game Cyberpunk 2077. Turns out that wasn’t the only surprise CD Projekt Red had up their sleeves this year in their story-heavy trailer:Â
An unexpected guest came out onto the XBox stage after a major character reveal. That’s right! Keanu Reeves is in the game. He not only graced us with his presence but dropped some juicy details about the game’s story and setting. It will be set in a futuristic metropolis where body modification is a way of life. You play an outlaw enhanced mercenary (like the one featured in this story trailer), and the character modifications are endless!
And finally, Keanu Reeves dropped another bomb on all of us which came in the form of an actual release date! Cyberpunk 2077 launches on April 16th, 2020.
