The recent 11.11 Sale has sort of become a meme at this point, with people online “marking themselves safe” from the Lazada 11.11 event. While there were a lot of people that didn’t get their wallets destroyed by the sale, there were plenty more buyers that spent big in the recent sale event, so much so that Lazada PH confirmed that it saw record-high numbers in the Philippines during 11.11.
Once the clock struck midnight to start the 11.11 Sale, Pinoys started their coming to Lazada in the droves. In fact, there were a million online shoppers and with a million items sold in just the first hour! By the end of the sale event, Filipinos have collectively spent 205 million minutes shopping.

As for brands, the big winners include the likes of Xiaomi, RealMe, and Huawei for Mobile; CooCaa, Philips, and TCL under Home Appliance; Pampers, Huggies, MamyPoko under Mother & Baby; Hydro Flask, Klean Kanteen, Mitsushi under General Merchandise; Maybelline, L’Oréal Paris, Olay for Health and Beauty; and American Tourister, Adidas, FitFlop under Fashion.
