Respawn Entertainment and EA’s Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order released last November 15, and it received positive reviews across the board. The game was praised for its tight, Dark Souls-inspired combat, as well as for its engaging story. From its critical and fan reception, Fallen Order proved that there is major interest in singleplayer Star Wars games.

Aside from getting great reception, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order has proved to be a hot seller. Business Wire recently announced that Fallen Order is the the fastest-selling digital launch of any Star Wars game in its first two weeks. Fallen Order is also the top-selling Star Wars game on PC in its initial launch window.

Regarding the game’s commercial success, Respawn Entertainment Head, Vince Zampella said “On behalf of Respawn and EA, we thank everyone for their support of the studio and the team throughout the development and launch of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. Telling a story in the Star Wars galaxy is a dream come true and the reception from the fans has been incredible.”

Set in between Episode III and IV, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order follows Cal Kestis, a Padawan in hiding after the Jedi were all but wiped out at the end of the Clone Wars. Fallen Order’s gameplay focuses on lightsaber combat, taking cues from games such as Dark Souls. The game also has some platforming elements reminiscent of the Uncharted series.

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is available now on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
