Looks like the gang’s adventure is not over yet! Square Enix will partner alongside studios JSC and GAEA to create a brand-new mobile MMORPG set in the world of Final Fantasy XV.

– Will have large scale multiplayer features.
– Will have new original content, expanding the games lore.
– New areas such as the Great Pagoda and the continents floating in the sky will be added.

According to the tweet by industry expert Daniel Ahmad (@ZhugeEX), it is based on Final Fantasy XV but in a parallel world. We can also expect the usual features likely found in an MMORPG like multiplayer battles. For the fans of the FFXV fluff, probably the most interesting bit here, aside from the original content, is that it looks to greatly expand all the bells and whistles that made the game what it is. Adding to this, the game will be made using the Unreal Engine 4.
Excited? No firm release date as of yet but it is said that the game will release in China under publisher Shanghai Oriental Pearl first, before rolling out to other regions.
