Looks like movie-goers in the Philippines will get a chance to watch the live-action adaptation Jigoku Shojo, which originally screened in Japan last year. This is based on a Facebook post by Viewer’s Choice Philippines yesterday. Check out the trailer below:

‘Jigoku Shoujo’ or more popularly known as Hell Girl is based on the popular original anime of the same name that was released back in 2005 to much acclaim. Here in the Philippines, it aired around the same time on cable channel Animax. The live-action movie is directed by Kôji Shiraishi.

No specific date revealed yet but it is said that the movie will be available this month.
