Lenovo unveils new IdeaPad, Yoga, and Chromebook devices for 2020 in the Philippines

At the recent Lenovo Sumer Sale online launch event, Lenovo has unveiled a slew of new laptops that are releasing in the Philippines. These notebooks are perfect for users who are looking for a productivity and/or entertainment device. The new laptops unveiled by Lenovo include notebooks in the IdeaPad and Yoga lineups, as well as new Chromebooks.
New IdeaPad devices
Headlining the latest IdeaPad lineup is the IdeaPad Flex 5. This new 2-in-1 laptop packs either up to a 10th gen Intel Core i7 or up to an AMD Ryzen 8-core 4000 series proccessor. The Flex 5’s display, which comes in 14 or 15.6-inch variants, is an IPS touch screen, perfect for digital artists. A a bonus, each Flex 5 comes with a Digital Pen for free!
The IdeaPad Flex 5 starts at PHP 42,995.
Up next, we have the IdeaPad Slim 5, a laptop suited for modern working professionals. This new IdeaPad comes in two variants, an Intel Core i7 10th gen model and an AMD Ryzen 4000 series version. Both variants come with PowerDelivery fast charging via a USB-C port, as well as a plethora of connectivity options.
The IdeaPad Slim 5’s price starts at PHP 49,995.
Rounding out the new IdeaPad lineup is the new and improved S540-13. The new S540’s highlight feature is that it utilizes AI to adapt to a user’s needs, making for a better user experience. The IdePad S540 packs either an AMD Ryzen 7 + Radeon Vega 8, or an Intel Core i7 10th gen processor + NVIDIA MX350 graphics. Both variants come with up to a QHD display, as well as 512GB SSD storage.
The refreshed IdeaPad S540 AMD variant is priced at PHP 59,995, while the Intel variant has an SRP of PHP 64,995.
New Yoga S and C devices
After the IdeaPad line reveal, Lenovo unveiled a range of new Yoga S and C laptops, including the Yoga S730, S740, and S940; along with the Yoga C640, C740, and C940.
The Yoga S730 (price starts at PHP 54,995) can now have up to an 10th-generation i7 Intel processor, while the Yoga S740 (price starts at PHP 66,995) now comes with up to a i9 9th-generation Intel processor. Lastly, the Yoga S940 (available for PHP 119,995) now comes with an i7 10th-generation Intel processor.
For the Yoga C line, the Yoga C640 series now has a more affordable i5 variant (priced at PHP 54,995). Meanwhile, the Yoga C940 (priced starting at PHP 89,995) now has up to a 10th-gen Intel Core i7 processor.
Lenovo Chromebooks
Aside from the new IdeaPad and Yoga devices, Lenovo also launched several new Chromebooks. These devices are aimed at budget-conscious buyers or students.
The Lenovo Chromebook lineup includes the following:
