Following the game’s announcement last month, PlayStation has just revealed the official cover art for Spider-Man: Miles Morales. Aside from giving us a better look at Miles’ Spidey suit, the cover art is also our first look at what physical PS5 box art will look like.

    Check it out here:

The Spider-Man: Miles Morales cover art is reminiscent of the cover for the 2018 Spider-Man game from Insomniac. Both feature the main character heavily, and both have plain backgrounds. Though in our opinion, the Miles Morales cover looks a bit better as Miles’ pose is a bit more dynamic; not to mention that he’s also winding up his shock ability.

Though the game cover itself is interesting, what caught our eyes the most is the new look for PS5 cover art. While the PS5 physical disc case retains the blue color of PS4 titles, the PS5 now has a white bar at the top with a black PS and PS5 logo.

While it may take some time to get used to, the colors used make sense, especially as it matches the striking white color of the PS5 console itself while retaining the “PlayStation blue” that was used since the start of the PS4 era. Plus, it will help buyers more easily differentiate PS5 and PS4 titles when buying physical copies.
