Captain Tsubasa: Rise of New Champions is available now on the PS4, Switch, and PC
The latest game in the classic Captain Tsubasa franchise is now available!
Announced earlier this year, Bandai Namco has finally released Captain Tsubasa: Rise of New Champions. The game is available now on the PS4, Switch, and PC.

In case you’re unfamiliar, Captain Tsubasa: Rise of New Champions is a football game based on the Captain Tsubasa manga/anime series. Rise of New Champions is not the first game of its kind though as the franchise has long had video game adaptations dating the 90s.
The game is described by Bandai Namco as:
“The worlds of Soccer and Anime converge in Captain Tsubasa: Rise of New Champions, based on the renowned Captain Tsubasa series. The game chronicles the athletic exploits of Tsubasa Ozora as he plays out his love for the game and advances through the ranks of multiple Soccer leagues. Captain Tsubasa: Rise of New Champions immerses players in an action packed soccer game that features exhilarating gameplay, over the top signature shots and accessible gameplay.”
Rise of New Champions features various game modes, including EPISODE: TSUBASA which is the game’s main story mode which follows the story of the original series. The game also features EPISODE: NEW HERO, a new story made specifically for the game that lets players create their own avatar. Finally, the game has DIVISION MATCHES which allow players to compete online against fellow players.
