ASUS Republic of Gamers and IKEA team up for gaming furniture collection

For the best PC gaming experience possible, a powerful rig isn’t the only thing you’ll need. Having the right desk and gaming chair is also important, especially if you plan on playing games for hours on end.
In case you’re thinking if getting a new desk or chair for your gaming setup, you may want to hold off til 2021. This is because IKEA has just announced that it is partnering with ASUS Republic of Gamers for a collection of gaming furniture and accessories!
The upcoming ASUS ROG x IKEA collection will feature 30 products, and will be launched first in China in February 2021. The collection will then be released in other IKEA markets in October 2021; hopefully in the Philippines as well.

While IKEA has yet to reveal what the collection will look like, the Swedish furniture giant has revealed some interesting info. For one, the IKEA x ROG furniture and accessories will be “affordable and ergonomic.” The designs of the products are also made to “blend in beautifully to homes.” This should mean that the ROG x IKEA furniture will strike a balance between a “gamer” aesthetic and IKEA’s signature clean look.
With IKEA set to open in the Philippines in 2021, the ROG x IKEA collection should make its way to PH shores in October of next year.
