Motorola is back in the Philippines with the razr 5G and the Moto G 5G Plus

Alongside the launch of the new Yoga line of laptops, Lenovo has also announced that it is bringing Motorola back in the Philippines! For the iconic brand’s return, two new Moto smartphones will be released in the country: the razr 5G and the Moto G 5G Plus.

Based on the iconic razr series in the early-mid 2000s, the new razr 5G is the next-generation foldable smartphone from Motorola. Aside from having a folding design that’s reminiscent of the previous razr phones, the razr 5G is also rated to withstand up to 200,000 flips in its lifetime.

For its screen, the razr 5G has a 6.2-inch Flex View display along with a 2.7-inch Quick View display on the outside. Powering the phone is a Snapdragon 765 processor, and it packs a 48MP camera.

Meanwhile, the Moto G 5G Plus is a mid-range device that is said to be the most affordable 5G-enabled smartphone in the Philippines. Powering the Moto G 5G Plus is a Snapdragon 765 processor, meaning it should be a good phone for gaming. As for its cameras, the Moto G 5G Plus has a quad camera setup at the rear along with a dual camera setup at the front. Finally, its display is a a 6.7-inch screen with a 90Hz refresh rate.

Both the motorola razr 5G and moto g 5G plus will be available in the Philippines in December 2020. The motorola razr 5G will be priced at PHP 72,990, while the 8GB RAM variant of the moto g 5G plus will have an SRP of PHP 16,990.
