Smart launches ‘Smart Play: Squad Up’ – a Call of Duty: Mobile tournament

PHP 1 million cash and in-game prizes are up for grabs!

With more and more people playing games on their phones, mobile esports has seen a meteoric rise over the past few years. To further support the growing esports scene in the country, Smart Communications, Inc. has launched Smart Play: Squad Up, the Philippines’ biggest non-professional Call of Duty®: Mobile – Garena tournament.

This Call of Duty: Mobile tournament is aimed at the growing Filipino playerbase of the game, and it will offer massive prizes, including up to PHP 1 million Pesos as well as in-game items.

The tournament is open to all Smart and TNT subscribers. To join, interested participants must submit a screenshot of their registration to Smart Free Games For All and sign up at www.matchroom.net/smart/squadup. Smart subscribers can register to Free Games For All via the new GigaLife App, which is available now on Google Play and the App Store.

The eligible teams from North Luzon, Central Luzon, South Luzon, NCR, Visayas, and Mindanao will represent their region and face off in the upcoming Regional Qualifiers and Regional Finals which start on October 24 and 25. The teams that make it through the Regional stages will move on to the National Grand Finals which is scheduled on December 3 and 4.
