Lenovo unveils new range of devices at CES 2021

Including three new IdeaPads and the new Tab P11.

At the Consumer Electronics Show 2021, Lenovo has revealed a new range of laptops in its IdeaPad range, as well as a new tablet. These new Lenovo devices promise to be “smarter” than their predecessors, meaning users will be able to use them to stay connected, as well as keep their productivity high.

The first of the new devices is the IdeaPad 5G, an ultraportable laptop that features a 5G SIM slot. With this, users won’t need Wi-Fi or a mobile hotspot to stay connected and/or to get their work done while out and about, or at home if Wi-Fi is slow.

The IdeaPad 5G is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8cx 5G compute platform and utilizes the Qualcomm Adreno 680 graphics and the Qualcomm Snapdragon X55 Modem-RF system for connectivity. The laptop also has a 14-inch (1920 x 1080) IPS display, as well as a battery that promises up to 20 hours of battery life of continuous video playback.

Up next, we have the IdeaPad 5i Pro and IdeaPad 5 Pro. These new laptops are Lenovo’s most powerful IdeaPad laptops yet, and they pack the following specs:

IdeaPad 5i Pro

  • Up to an 11th Gen Intel Core i7 processor
  • Up to NVIDIA MX450 graphics card
  • Up to 14-inch 2.8K (16:10) IPS display with a 90Hz refresh rate
  • Or up to 16-inch 2.5K (16:10) IPS display with a 120Hz refresh rate
  • Up to 16GB DDR4 of memory and up to 1TB SSD PCIe M.2 of storage
  • 56.5WHr battery and Rapid Charge Boost (14-inch)
  • 75WHr battery capacity with support for Rapid Charge Express (16-inch)

IdeaPad 5 Pro 14-inch

Finally, we have the Lenovo Tab P11, a tablet for productivity that packs an 11-inch high-definition 2K (2000 x 1200) touchscreen display, Snapdragon 662 LTE processor, 6GB RAM, and Lenovo Precision Pen 2 support.
