Our favorite Reaper has just reached a major milestone!

ONE Store Beta Now Available

Just a week after Gawr Gura reached 2 million subscribers, Hololive English’s Mori Calliope has finally reached 1 million subs! With this record, Calliope is now the second member of Holo EN to reach the 1 million subscribers milestone, and she’s the seventh to do among all Hololive members.

Calliope reaching 1 million subscribers is quite a feat in its own right, but what makes it even more impressive is that it only took her five months to do so. Of course, Hololive English as a whole is a massive success, with her fellow HoloEN members also having a huge amount of subscribers. In fact, it’s likely only a matter of time until her other fellow HoloEn VTubers reach 1 million subs as well.

Not familiar with Calliope? Mori Calliope (Calli for short) is a Virtual YouTuber (VTuber) that debuted back in September under Hololive English–the English-speaking branch of Japanese VTuber group Hololive. Calli’s backstory is that she’s the Grim Reaper’s apprentice who took a break from reaping souls to become a VTuber.

While Calli makes a variety of content such as game playthroughs and chat-only streams, her original songs are arguably her most popular work. For instance, her first song “Excuse My Rudeness, But Could You Please RIP?” currently has over 12 millions views
