Unboxing the NieR Replicant ver.1.22 Lunar Tear Edition

The first game in the NieR series not only got a shiny new remake in the form of NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139… (or NieR Replicant ver.1.22, because it is quite a mouthful really), it also got the very desirable “Lunar Tear Edition” which, based on the content, is really a huge love letter given for both new and old fans of the franchise.

Though the game had fairly impressive review scores all around, for this article we will be focusing on the contents of the Nier Replicant Lunar Tear Edition for the Playstation 4; just in case you were late to the party and still considering on hunting one for yourself.

The Lunar Tear “Collector’s Box” houses all the content neatly in one clean and white package that features some stunning art.

As a pre-order bonus, the game package includes a Dynamic Theme, as well as an Avatar Set that you can use for your PS4 console. It also includes a mini digital soundtrack.

The Steelcase bears some eye-candy artwork by famed character designer Akihiko Yoshida.

The Grimoire Pin Set, specifically the Grimoire Weiss, Grimoire Noir, and Grimoire Rubrum pins are housed in a specialized display case.
